Community rules
This community is a safe, supportive space for people on artificial nutrition, their loved ones and carers. To make sure everyone feels comfortable, please respect these rules.
1. Be kind and respectful
Approach all conversations with kindness, compassion and an open mind. Differences in experiences, emotions and opinions are natural, and everyone's story deserves respect.
2. Keep it confidential
What is shared here stays here. Please do not share or discuss other members' personal details or private stories outside the community.
3. Support, don't diagnose
We are here to support each other, not to give medical advice or make diagnoses. For any health concerns, please speak to a healthcare professional.
4. Stay on topic
Keep conversations focused on artificial nutrition, caring, and supporting loved ones. This keeps the community supportive and focused for everyone.
5. Be sensitive and inclusive
Some discussions may be sensitive or upsetting for others. Approach heavy topics, like mental health or complications, with care, and be mindful of language that may upset people.
6. Limit promotions
Sharing helpful resources is encouraged, but please do not promote products, services or events that are not about artificial nutrition support.
7. Zero tolerance for harassment or hate speech
Discrimination, hate speech and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the community.
8. Reach out if you need help
If you are struggling, reach out here. If you or someone else is in immediate crisis, please use the emergency contacts below.
If something worries you
Every post, comment, message and profile has a Report button. Reports go privately to a moderator, and the person is never told who reported them. You can also block anyone, so you no longer see each other's posts or messages.
